– What is Codemotion?
Codemotion is a technical conference open to all languages and technologies devoted to developers. It’s the main technical conference in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe. We are in 9 countries with 11 conferences (Rome, Dubai, Amsterdam, Dublin, Warsaw, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, London and Tel Aviv), we have an international network of 40.000 developers and speakers form all over the world.
Codemotion isn’t only a conference, we deal with different activities:
- Codemotion Training – scheduled courses and boot camps, online training, on demand courses
- Codemotion Kids – Tech school for youngsters from 6 to 18 years old
- Organization of IT events and conferences by request
- Organization of hackathons

– How does Codemotion Rome 2016 work?
One day of workshops (8 hours each) on March 17th and two days of conference on March 18th and 19th.
You can choose to participate only to one workshop, only to the conference or both of them.
Our conference is made of keynotes, talks and labs and you’ll also have many opportunities of networking. Don’t lose the opportunity to get in touch with the best international speakers and exchange view on the hottest topics for devs.
– Which are the main contents of the conference?
Codemotion conference is open to all languages and technologies: Security, Architecture, Scalability, DevOps, Methods, IoT, Languages, Mobile, Enterprise, Cloud, Big Data, Functional Programming, Front end, Back end, Web-Serverside, Game dev and so much more!
– Who attends the conference?
Codemotion gathers together developers, businessmen, startuppers, university IT students, sponsor companies, partners, community members and everyone who has a passion for technology.
– Will the conference be in English or Italian?
The 75% of the conference will be held in English, the other 25% in Italian: half of our speakers are international guests and mostly of our Italian speakers will have their talk in English.
This is the result of our efforts to make Codemotion an international event.
TICKETS
– What kinds of tickets are there?
Combo ticket gives the right to attend one workshop (March 17th) and both days of conference (March 18th and 19th) at a discounted price.
Workshop ticket is for people who want to attend one of our workshops on March 17th.
Conference ticket is for regular attendees who want to attend both days of conference (March 18th and 19th). There are 3 kinds of Conference ticket (Early Bird, Regular Ticket and Last Ticket), the only difference among them is the price that changes according to the purchasing time.
Company/Group ticket is reserved for groups of at least 4 people. Company/Group ticket gives the right to attend both days of conference (March 18th and 19th) saving 25% on the total price.
Diamond ticket gives the right to attend both days of conference (March 18th and 19th) and Codemotion special dinner reserved to speakers, sponsors and influencers on March 18th having the opportunity to dine and chat with them.
Student Free ticket is reserved to high school and university students (also university masters students are admitted). Please remember that it’s mandatory to show your current student ID or any other documents that prove that you are regularly enrolled in the current academic year (the last paid tax receipt, for example) when you check-in. The Student Full ticket gives you the right to attend both days of conference (March 18th and 19th) but neither meals nor gadgets are included.
Student Full ticket is reserved to high school and university students (also university masters students are admitted). The Student Full ticket gives you the right to attend both days of conference (March 18th and 19th).
– Could my company buy a ticket for me for my professional training?
Yes, of course. Due to our effort to make Codemotion a fully professional conference, we encourage companies to consider Codemotion as a professional training opportunity. Look at the special discount reserved to companies!
– Can I have an invoice for the ticket?
Yes, the invoice will be sent within a week since the end of the event.
– I have bought a ticket but I can’t attend Codemotion Rome 2016 anymore. Can I ask for a refund?
Tickets are not refundable, but you can transfer your ticket to another person.
